Completely or partially blank pages only when printing from a computer - Windows or Macintosh

- If the machine can copy, then the issue is likely with the software:

2. Right-click on the Brother printer and left-click ( Printer ) Properties .

3. Click on the Advanced Tab.

4. Uncheck Keep Printed Documents .

5. Click Print Processor .

6. For 'Print Processor', select Winprint .

7. For 'Default Data Type', select RAW .

9. Click on the General tab.

10. Click Print Test Page .

- If the document prints correctly, then the driver is working correctly.

- If the document doesn't print correctly go to step 11.

12. Reinstall the Brother software. The latest software can be downloaded from https://support.brother.com.

13. Attempt to print again.

- If the document prints correctly, then the printer driver is working correctly.

- If the document doesn't print correctly, this is likely related to a software or system setting. Contact your software manufacturer or computer support for assistance.

1. Open System Preferences → Printers & Scanners .

Depending on your operating system, this may be labeled Print & Fax or Print & Scan .

2. Select the machine.

3. Click the - minus button.

4. Click Delete Printer or OK .

If the machine is listed more than once, delete each copy.

5. Click the + plus button.

6. Select your machine from the list.

8. Close the printer's list.

9. Attempt to print a document.

- If the document prints correctly, then the printer driver is working correctly.
