Usually I create a number of multipage presentation documents. I do it in Illustrator ( not Indesign because of a lot of technical graphs and tables). Then I have to convert it to reduced PDF file and send it to client. From his side he also does a lot of changes to this file ( change numbers and other data). He can not deal with illustrator file so he works with this reduced pdf. After that he usually asks me to make changes again. So I have to recreate and update an illustrator file every time. Because of a great number of digital data it doesn't work well and takes a lot of extra time. I can not work with this reduced pdf file in illustrator also, 'cause it doesn't support editing options -even open multipage script works weird sometimes. So I try to find the best solution. Don't understand how to make this process smooth. Work in powerpoint or keynote? -But it is much more easy to do some nice artworks ( they also want them) in AI. So really get confused. Really appreciate any comments and ideas.

They are scientists - they don't want to deal with AI files - just change updated data back and forth in pdf . - But then send it to me and ask to make some slightly changes again ( remove table column etc). I am not sure how to organize this process in the best way. Every time I have compare my file with the updated pdf - but it is impossible if you have 40 slides with digital data.
